Yes - you do give yourself the Wegovy® injection! Wegovy comes in an easy-to-administer pen that is preset with the dose you’re taking and a hidden needle. 

How to give yourself a Wegovy shot

To give yourself a Wegovy shot, first wash the injection site. After cleaning the injection site, you’ll push the pen firmly into the skin on your abdomen, upper arms, or upper legs and wait for the yellow bar on the pen to stop moving. This will indicate to you that the injection is complete.
