Can I take Contrave on an empty stomach?

Yes, you can take Contrave® on an empty stomach, but it may be better tolerated by taking it with food. Once you’ve reached twice daily dosing, this would ideally be with breakfast and dinner. However, it is recommended that you don’t take your Contrave prescription with a high fat meal as it can increase your risk of having a seizure.
